The desktop app just talks about hooking up a Daktronics All-Sport CG controller to the software. Can I also hook up directly to a 5000 series controller? Do I need the ~$60 desktop license (hockey in this case) to enable the Daktronics listener?

the problem is that daktronics only provides official data to 3rd party applications through their CG.
a direct all-sport access is not possible so far, sorry for this
